Established in January 1996, Performance
Testing Laboratories, LLC (PTL) is a third party, full service laboratory
that performs most industry standard tests as well as customer-defined
testing procedures in a strictly controlled environment. PTL is
a laboratory member of several package-testing institutions including
the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), National Motor
Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA), Institute of Packaging Professionals
(IoPP), Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI)
and is a U.S.D.O.T. Third-Party Performance Packaging Certification
Agency (for shipment of non-bulk hazardous materials). PTL can also
perform several component checks on your corrugated fiberboard such
as ECT, Burst, Cobb testing, and others.
